According to South Carolina's Office of Exceptional Children Policies and Proceduresreleased April 6, 2009, once a child has been dismissed, any subsequent evaluation would be an initial evaluation. The evaluation must include a review of existing data. If the team determines the current available data are adequate for the purposes of eligiblity determination, there do not need to be any further assessments conducted.
